The program revolves around the number 40. This number is all throughout the program and represents a number of things. The cycling period that the program follows lasts 40 days. Each set that you complete will last 40 seconds, and your rest period will also be 40 seconds, but we’ll get more in depth into this later in the review.

About The Creator, Ben Pakulski

Ben Pakulski is a champion bodybuilder that has competed in dozens of competitions. To name a few of his achievements, he placed 4th in the 2012 Arnold Classic, 2nd at the 2012 Flex Pro, and won the 2008 Canadian Championship.

Ben grew up as a fairly athletic kid and played every sport he could get in to. When he reached the age of 15, sports started getting competitive as the testosterone started to flow. He was already thinking about being a college or pro athlete. Since he was a pretty good athlete at the time, he wanted to be even better, and seemingly always ended up in the weight room with his buddies.

He loved the thrill of getting strong and loved the feeling. It helped him become fast, improved his athletic performance and even improved his confidence.

He was inspired at an early age by reading FLEX magazine and realizing how big he could really build his body. He eventually discovered his true passion of bodybuilding. His true idol and later his mentor was the late Tom Hall. He was a IFBB Pro who was never defeated, and he considers him to be the biggest influence on his career.

Ben Pakulski received his formal education from University of Western Ontario. Here he received his Kinesiology Degree with a minor in economics.

How The MI40 Workout Works

The workouts contained within the program are resistance training exercises. Each session will contain between 6 and 9 exercises. I bet you can guess how long each session takes to complete. Each session will last a magical, 40 minutes. Most of the exercises will be between 4 and 8 reps, a very low number. The last sets are designed to be Neurological Overload Sets, or NOS. This helps you overload your muscle so that the muscle fibers are broken down, and rebuild even bigger. As you break down your muscles, the fibers will repair and adapt to the increasing difficulty of the workouts.

All of the exercises throughout this workout follow this pattern excel the push-up supersets. These you will do 3 sets until you literally can’t do anymore. The areas on your body you will be working out will be changing, where no two weeks are the same. This will keep your body ‘on its toes’ and no allow you to reach a plateau.

You’re going to want to be in decent shape before you attempt the MI40 program. If you have tried workouts where you are active 2 or 3 days out of the week, and you aren’t achieving the results you desire, this program would be a good choice. It is a high intensity program coupled with complex overloading workouts that will give you great muscle gains if you stick to the system.
